Roasters Note: This is one of the cleanest naturals we've ever had. The only way we could tell it was natural when selecting it was the body and creaminess of tropical fruits. We really recommend running a 13-17 second 1:3 shot as it's very easy to drink at this TDS
This microlot is from the Keramo station which is famous for winning the 2020 Cup of Excellence
The coffee beans in this microlot have had genetic testing to determine exactly what type of "heirloom" they are which is why the variety is a number. This coffee being a single variety meaning you can expect an easier time distinguishing flavours.
This is one of the cleanest naturals we've come across, due to the quality of the processing. Its' extreme elevation of 2260-2360 masl means the beans are very dense and can be roasted hard and fast which tends to further reduce fermentation flavours and increases acidity.
The end result is a coffee so clean that only way we can tell this is a natural is by the increased body and creaminess.
